Default Bore water stains on windscreen??

Stupid sprinkler at work came on and showered the back row of the carpark with bore water including my car. =( I left it over night as I got home quite late but now my windscreen has these stupid stains I can't get off (like water droplet outlines but only the outlines are visible). Other than kicking it in and getting the insurance to replace it how can I make them go away? I scrubbed the hell out of it with everything I could find but they're still there. You can't feel them at all just see it.

Not parking there again, should make the bastards pay for it as I had no idea there was even sprinkers there.

Seemed to come off on all the painted panels... phew.

What have you tried so far? Just to help narrow down any options.

I would try a very mild cut and polish on one of the droplets just to see if it works.

Have you tried Autoglym Glass Polish? I've found it gets a lot of marks of the glass that normal auto glass cleaner won't.

nah tried some metho, water, one of those green rough house hold sponges, won't lift it.

I'll try the glass polish stuff.

How would you go about getting it off paint as I noticed the spoiler has still some faint outlines of a few droplets?

Cheers.
