How did you go with the airbag thing? I know you can trick the sensor that tells the car it is there with a resistor but what about things like the seat high / distance sensor?

I would love a seat in my WRX but to be really honest I'm just not quite comfortable with the work arounds for the airbags yet...
To be honest there is two kids seats in the back and both had better side bolstering than the stocko seats!
I did the 3ohm resistor trick into the plug which has worked a treat.
Mine didn't have any height / distance sensor but I had to mount the seatbelt clip onto the mounting rail and plug the seat belt alarm wiring back in.

Yeah, I had the same problem with my Sparco Burke...MMS (Rob) just rejigged the mount to move the seat fractionally more towards the console and it's fine now.
Good to hear that the GOCMeister was able to provide tools!

How does the 'lap' part of your lapsash seatbelt go?
It looks, from the pics, like the seat is lower but the sides are higher, so it evens out in terms of where the side leg bolster high is.
BUT, since you look like you're sitting lower in the actual bucket of the seat, I'm wondering if the belt hardly touches you and just sort of sits a few cm above your legs/waist? Know what I mean?
Of course, harness will solve that. but till then?.....
Cheers
