i'd recommend Fletchers Malaga as well. Very professional, Subaru fans, and wont do a repair thats anything less than perfect.

Very sad to hear Damo Talk about wrong place, wrong time...

Will you still be out and about on Sunday?

Pretty nasty as far as scratches go (could go as far as calling it a gouge).

It's in the capable of hands of Benson at the moment and will be ready by Sunday. All this wind, rain and cold weather isn't exactly helping speed things along though

hey guys thought id use the same thread seing as it is to do with the related thread topic um today at the cruise i was givin the car a bit of stick to test it out a bit after the bingle because the main impact was on the exhaust tip as some had seen the exhaust tip was mis shapen its now a oval shape and ive noticed the car isnt as smooth as it was before the bingle and i was talking to my dad tonite and he recons that i might have moved the exhaust and has made a gap somewere n is creating a bit of blowby out of sompthing on the exhaust?

or maby a crack in the exhaust or broken gasket or sompthing?

just wondering as to waht peoples thoughts are? because hte car just doesnt feel the same feels a bit different not as smooth on the power?

the repairs to the car will probly be done threw the guys insurance but i would kust like to take it somewere to have them check n see if the exhaust is ok and no gaps or anythin anywere

cheers in advance any adivce or ideas on the situation would be much appreciated

I haven't seen the damage but I'd be jumping under the car and having a look around mate.
Could the pipe be bent anywhere, could cause a restriction?

Chances are the force of the impact broke something at the engine end of the exhaust. I'd be checking the gaskets between the cat converter and dump pipe to tubo

get it on a hoist or at least some car stands, and get under there
as phizzle said, check all gaskets.
also check the turbo bracket, where the turbo 'bolts on' to the engine block, as mine 'snapped' somehow at some stage (a while back) and we had to weld it back together...

The impact could also cause the cat (if you have one) to partially collapse internally.
Get a free check from an exhaust place rather than a smash repairer. they will probably be able to tell just by listening to it.
