Default Boot Release problem

Seems that the boot does not open when i pull the release leaver (on the floor next to the drivers door). I can see it trigger the release but the boot does not open. any ideas? its very annoying as i need to turn the car off and use the key when wanting to access the boot. Thanks

It's either the switch or the boot latch has bent its contact point. Easy enough to rectify, just need to fiddle with it.
