Default Remote boot release

As I now have a new boot lid I am considering a remote boot release module to accompany my alarm system. I have a few questions.

Any of you have a remote boot release as part of your alarm?

If so how easy is it to install if I was going to go the DIY track?

Do any of you know the rough estimated price for the module required?

Currently have a laserline alarm fitted.

would be very easy to wire up, provided the wires for the secondary release are still labelled

no idea how much the spring/latch thingy is worth, but let me know with what you find ok! need to do it to my car too

Which model Laserline do you have, some models will require more work and possibly some setting changes to support boot release.

Wouldn't have a clue what model it is mate, when I bought the car from ozzy park a while back they installed it for me as it didn't have any form of alarm.

If it helps it has ultrasonic sensors.. ??

Where would I find the model number...

Thanks,

Daren

Have a look in the engine bay, there may be a model number (eg 975) on the siren.
