Default Spoiler mount compatibility

Search but to no avail,

Can somebody tell me if a 04 WRX spoiler will bolt up into the same mounting holes as a STI spoiler? without having any holes left over or having to drill any new ones?

reason i ask is cos i interested in that CF boot lid but its been drilled for a sti spoiler

Cheers

A MY04 spoiler uses only 4 holes in the bootlid. A factory STI spoiler uses 15 bolts from memory so if all of them were used on the C/F boot then you will have 11 holes visible. Really depends if all bolts were used. I only used 6 bolts when attaching my STI spoiler.
Probably best to ask the seller how many holes are drilled.

Pretty sure the 04 STI spoiler has somewhere around 12 holes to mount it on the boot, versus about 6 for a standard WRX.
Being a carbon fibre boot though, I doubt all them holes would be drilled. Ask the seller how many holes it has to start with.

If the cf lid in question is the one I've got up, you're welcome to trial-fit your WRX spoiler.
