yeh i know im asking for a yellow but has anybody taken the covers off the gc8 taillights.?

any help would be great

They are a one piece unit that you unscrew from inside the boot.

You can't actually just take the lens off.

Yeh i know I got the whole taillight out but there has to be a way to take the lens off hey ?

I've heard that putting it in the oven for 10 mins does the trick. Don't quote me on it.

Just go to this website http://www.rvinyl.com/ and get this tint if you get pulled over and thats the only thing wrong you can just rip it off I used to have it on my STI before hand. Recommend getting sheets of it instead of getting the cut outs because they dont stretch properly over the lens.

The oven trick does work.... but it's messy and make sure you have some more silicon on hand to help reseal it. I cleaned up my mate's headlight on his Supra after it got some water in there but it's a bit of a bitch. Temp was something like 100-120 in the oven
