Kinda the same windscreen wiper problem..
I'm thinking the dumbasses that had the car before me pulled them off , painted them and put them back on in the wrong order .. When mine go vertical the right hand side wiper ( as if your looking out the window sitting in the drivers seat) goes past the seal and past the window all together lol. The left ones fine. . Could it be because ones got a curve and ones straight and they've put them on in the wrong order ? What's the correct way ? Lol simplest question I know. But iv never paid that much attention to wipers at all.. Haha

Go to Supercheap/Repco/AutoOne/Malz etc...
Read windscreen wiper book. Find the lengths for your car. Measure the wipers on your car. Either swap, cut to suit or replace, depending on what wiper blades you have. Profit.

as said either the frame is too long or the wiper arm is out a tooth or 2 on it's adjustable splines.
