Question Car too low!!! Help!!

Hey guys,

After going over pits and finding my exhaust system too low to the ground, im in need of a way to fix this.
The guy said the car itself is high enough just that the exhaust is too low. Does any one know of a way to fix it??

Modify it to sit higher.
A workshop such as RMS or MMS should be able to help with this. Norm Butler exhausts are 'custom' to sit up closer to the chassis...

What year is your car?

Might be beneficial to put up a wanted thread to borrow a STD system
from someone to put on for the pits and once it's passed then put yours
back on.

Also what part of the exhaust have they deemed to low, is it the muffler
or the complete piping on the system?

Curious as to what is too low for an exhaust? Did they give you any measurements or such?

i looked under the chassis and it looks like to whole piping is too low. He said it had to be above 100mm from the ground. Im going to have to put stock wheel back one to take it over the pits dont know if that will help.

Im just really trying to chase a quick fix as i just need to get it over pits and i dont feel like spending a fortune

Replacing the stock rims back on it wont jack up the car.

In the long run it would be worth going to an exhaust place and have the exhaust put up into a more reasonable position, not only for the pits but
incase you hit something and damage it later whaich will be more of a fuck around.

im just trying to get it past the pits this week, otherwise i wont be able to get it done.
I wont be able to get time off work for a while so just wanna get it done as cheap and fast as possible.
Thinking maybe finding stock springs, getting them swapped over. but not sure how much people will charge to do it :S
Or maybe even borrowing a stock exhaust, whacking that on just for the pits.

Just wondering........How are your exhaust hangers? Are they all in good shape and not sagging? Will shorter/standard exhaust hangers be able to clear your exhaust? Or are you using those already... Cheap things that do raise the height of the exhaust besides replacing whole springs and wheels lol.
