That's pretty cool mate.

How did you go about making it?

Just cut a hole in the existing storage lid at what ever angle you want the gauge to sit, cover the gauge in cling wrap and sit it in there. Then you will need some fibreglass repair kit. Wrap the fibreglass around the gauge to get the rough shape for the gauge to sit in. Then finish it off with body repair filler, sand it, prime it and paint it.

It takes ages to get a good finish on it, but the end result looks good.

That’s awesome mate. Well done!

I need to do something similar.

I have a Speco boost gauge for 57 dollars and the cup to hold it is 50 dollars.. Anyone see the logic in that? Because it sure escapes me!

I need to do something like this rather than getting the cup that looks rather obtrusive. Your work there is well done and fair dinkum custom.

Again well done.

Mine is a speco meter. Just bought the cheapest one seeing as is was a hit or miss project. Gauge works well though. All up including gauge cost approx $150.......
