Default 05+ STi A/C Light colour change

Hey guys was wondering if anybody in Perth has managed to change their A/C lights to match the red cluster? I have looked on nasioc and it says it can not be done and it will need to be sent away.. Is there anybody on here that can do it? Or anywhere locally that can?

Cheers Rhys

I'm very sure it has been done quite a few times here as I was going to change them on my last 2 piggy's by using a DIY that was on nasioc.

Hmmm... will keep searching a bit more, from what i have seen so far if you can DIY it is very hard.

I think they're LED's, so unless you can pull the climate control module apart and do some soldering, seems pretty unlikely

soldering an LED is not a difficult job.
I am not saying they are an LED though, just commenting.
I have not checked, too ricey for me. I do not go in much for bling.
They are orange, yes? If so, they could be LED.
Getting the climate control module out of an 05 is not difficult from memory. I am pretty sure I had most fo the dash out at some stage on my old 05.
Saying that, if it is a surface mount LED on a PCB then it is a lot more tricky, and better suited to a soldering lab than a hand soldering iron. Get it apart and post a pic, I am an electronics tradesman, so I have a clue!
