Default New Rims

Hi, i saw a set of rims on the "show us your rims" thread and i wanted to know where i can get a set. and would they fit a 2010 impreza R. i dont have the tools to fit them myself so i would have to get them fitted at a shop and i would possibly need new tyres from what i already have (picture 2) and how much would it cost all up. some low profile tyres would be nice too

Ultrex has similar looking rims for $999, with tyres it all depends on brands, size etc so I'd budget for atleast a minimum of $500 for a set of basic but good tyres with fitting from any tyre place.

Really??!!!!

The search function is incredibly useful for stuff like this....

Those rims are similar to the Ultrex RS http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/ultrex-performance/31713-ultrex-rs-rims-new-stock-colours.html
And you can find the workshops thread here http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/mechanicals/6775-perth-workshops.html

And as for tyres... Depends what diameter/size you buy and what size you currently have...

All good mate.

Yes if you are getting a larger size rim, you will need new tyres to suit.
My advice is to go with something decent, like Bridgestone RE001s... Rather than some cheap Kmart economy tyre.

Your tyres play a big role in how well your car sticks to the road, and I would rather pay a little more for something that could well save my life...

This thread discusses different types of tyre, recommendations etc... http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/showthre...highlight=tyre

Talk to Kerry at Bridgestone Tyre Centre in Bentley... mention you're a member of P-WRX and that you were referred to him.. I'm sure he'll give you a good price. I used to also do his imports so feel free to mention my name :-)
