I'd honestly be very careful of the cheaper LEDs. They're prone to failure and in a critical situation such as a tail light you'd want them to be reliable.
We got CREE LED tail light globes which cost nigh on $50 each but I have found them to be reliable now working after 2 years still. They are very bright with a massive heat sink but no pretty pattern .

Yep, I've run them in the 204 since I built it. Look great with the clear lenses, you'll have to post up pics of them when they arrive.

Did you get a photo of these in action?
Also anyone know what LED bulb to put in for the number plate light, think there are two of them required.
