Westside in Cannington still the place to go for car audio?? Haven't needed anything for 5+ years but the girlfriend just got a 2003 X-trail and wants to get a double DIN head unit installed in it.

Anyone used someone recently (preferably SOR) that they can recommend for supply & install?

From what i know Macey is no longer at Westside. Fabian is there though, he does top jobs.

Bit hard to go past the Alberts deal at the moment. Half price Alpine double DIN touch screen @ $949. Haven't seen model numbers on the ad on TV but pretty sure it would be this one IVA-W502EV - Alberts Online - Albert's Car Stereo - Car & Marine Entertainment Specialists

Can't speak for Fabian's work but yes, Macey has left the industry.

Whoever is doing their installs now is surely, hopefully decent. I doubt they would want to take a backward step now that Macey has moved on.

I went to Westside in Cannington recently for an Autowatch install and I'm more than impressed, everything has worked fine so far (touch wood) and there haven't been any issues with interior stuff not secured properly etc. Had a mate go there last week for a sub & an amp and he's very happy with it all too so I would say they'd still be a safe bet to go for.
