As bish suggested... far too small a volume to put my current sub in. Also lack of depth/clearance.

Default step 3

okay a little progress today.

spent three hours on the box before i go ahead finishing the false floor : D
as i need to be sure it fits in the boot with the floor height before the floor gets bolted down.

step 3

you will need either a jigsaw or a drop saw(preferred) i used a jigsaw

cut out the pieces you require if its for a gd wrx your measurements will be the same as mine i will post these later.

depending on the size of sub you use the litre-age will be different for you're box so keep this in mind i decided to go un ported for now but may consider it later thats completely up to you.

you will need.

*jigsaw/ drop saw
*silicone i used sika - flex
*screws i went with mdf chipboard 45mm long x 50
*of course MDF i used three sheets 450mm wide by 1200 long x 18 (22 would be best) lots left over
*i also used glue in every hole a screw went in i used a proper sealant as i know my sub pumps hard.
* straight edge of some sort
*tape measure
*marking pen

will post up measurements later tonight

this is just the box for the sub it is not a final product this won't even be seen once i am finished so it isn't the best looking and is covered in glue as its not important what it looks like its more important what it sounds like.

many screws : D

finished box will test sound later if its shit ill try again : )

no where near finished the box will sit against the back seat and two amps will sit along side it there will be a fancy cover piece to go over all of this you will only see black carpet or possibly blue carpet haven't decided and all you'll see is a sub and two amps : D

will be putting foam in later box was necessary to make sure i didn't make the false floor to high
thanks impresiv your on to it ; )

also any one know if i should deaden on top of the mdf floor or on the boot floor I'm assuming boot floor but worried ill waste time and money doing that part wrong lol

also people sub box sounds amazing needs a little more sealant as i was in a hurry but wanted to try it any way.

will work more in this in a few days and post more as i can next step is the amp racks : D

thanks for following hope I'm being helpful
