Just wondering whether 18x8.5 with a +35 offset will fit an o5 sit.

yes if the pcd is 114.3 x 5 but you will be wanting to roll the guards, pump the penders a bit and run some negative camber so you will need coilovers, good wheel alignment too

ATM i am running the prodrive gc 010g which are 18X9.5 with i think a +32 or a 37 and they stick out a lot and rub hard. they stick out about 20mm.

has any one got any good combos

As per A.D, but you won't need to pump the fenders, just a good flat roll (AutoFX, Dentcraft yada yada).

There's a few GD owners running 18 x 9 +38's on here so you shouldn't have a problem. Read this thread.
