Default How to spot FAKE Varis products? (and now radiator cap! :P)

Hey all, Recently bought a Varlis lip for the new car. Should be arriving tomorrow finally, so am just curious if anybody knows how to spot a genuine one, It is meant to be, So the seller clearly stated. But as Dr. House tells us, everyone lies lol.
Is there some sort of inside logo? or serial number?

Google was no help .

Mao is pretty hard to contact at the moment, still waiting on some prices for other things from him. So thought i'd pass it onto some other kind soul who has the knowledge to help.

A genuine will have some sort of mark like this:

For Carbon parts, I think it's a plate that's somehow attached to the inside of the lip.

Non-genuine stuff will have crap fitment too, a genuine part should have no work required to get it to sit flush.

If you are getting the fit over lip for the Evo X:

Fakes don't have the recess in the center for the Varis sticker
Fakes are about 5mm wider causing fitment issues
Fakes feel fake. Hard to describe but its more of a plastic/thinner feel
Genuine comes with the rubber seal

I have a genuine one on my X, great product!
