I have run with them off for years, and on as well.
Makes no difference.

If you were a hardcore racer worried about airflow over the bonnet etc then maybe it would.

If you leave them off, it is more dirt/water/etc entering your engine bay if you park outside (this can cause stuff under the vents to fade in colour, e.g. battery, and can mess up electricals like headlight ballasts if you run HID's) but they do definitely help keep under bonnet temperatures in check with them open. Your choice between function or form I suppose!

Yellow sticker risk running with them off.

Disagree. This is how they come from factory, with bonnet vents, everyone knows that.

Theyre talking about removing the black panel underneath the vents that come fitted from factory.

You might create a nasty vaccume/vortex that could suck out your engine?

Ears could implode with the lack of cabin pressure.
