Default Plasti Dip Thread

Hey Guys,

Starting this thread for you to post ur Plasti Dip projects/pics and discussion as this new trend starts to gain momentum. There is a new Perth dealer of the stuff that can be found here:

Youtube it etc. if you don't know what it is. I will be doing a black bonnet at some stage and the wheels and some detailing on my wife's car . . .and
who knows what else

This one below was done buy a shop in the UK with a gun, not spray cans.

Its a spray on plastic that can be peeled off relatively easily if needed. It comes in cans or can be used in a gun. Its easy to apply but won't last forever. Depending on how well you do it and what areas you are applying it to, a few months at worst or a few years at best.

Just looked it up on google. the rattle can jobs turn out uneven on big jobs and the texture of the finish is pretty poor. Seems like it would make your car look cheap.
