I got a pioneer head unit thru hong kong on eBay it's been in the car since 2010 no problems and fit like it was made for the space the oem unit came out of,
it's iPhone compatible only thing I had to get the original pioneer cable to connect the iPhone cause video didn't transfer on the cheaper cable they threw in with the head unit
If you are worried about fit they have the dimensions or if not its on the pioneer site

I can tell you know Sirius will not work here, their satellites are only over the U.S, however you can use the Sirius app and just use a US Address.

Wasn't so concerned with the radio/music apps.. but was looking at the Dash Command app.

However the US version of the ABH-X8550BT is the AVH-X8500BHS. Different name, same thing but is SirusXM ready (with add on controller) and Pandora enabled from factory. Also they will be stuck on DVD region 2 unless you get something to make it region free.
