Default Replacement Headlight Globes

Hi All,

I tried to search for similar topics - in particular LED "bulbs" but couldnt find anything specific to what I was looking for.

If there is a thread someone knows of please point me in the right direction.

Basically I need to replace my stock standard (I assume) headlight globes in MY04. Im looking for something of equal or better light and distance output.

Someone mentioned looking into LED "bulbs"?? From what I have read there is no such thing? Or only in driving lights.

Is there such a thing, and would they be legal?

If not - does anyone have good feedback for makes and wattage etc?

Cheers

Ive read some threads on them, and arnt they illegal?

Also due to my wrx being 04, Im pretty sure I would blind people, or need to adjust them so far down it would be pointless using them.

i have the phillips crystal vision in my bugeye... you'll never look back . trust me. brilliant, i would stay away from HID and the like... all they do is scatter light into oncoming traffic's eyes. annoying to say the least.

If you want good lighting I recommend these. NIGHT BREAKER PLUS Limited Edition. They're not cheap, but well worth the extra dollars, especially in overcast & foggy conditions.

yeah unless you have the proper HID projectors you'll end up with worse vision fitting HID bulbs to headlight with halogen reflectors
