Default Advice needed..

Hey guys,

I was thinking of sticking some custom vinyl artwork on the left side of my wrx, to cover up hail damage areas.. just wanting to know if its actually legal to have it on... tried finding out info but cant seem to find any out there. So just wondering if any of you have info on this or have run into bad brush in with the cops for having them on.

As long as they are not racist, pornographic, depict violence or anything else that the general public would find offensive I would think you be fine. It would be no difference to company advertisements.

Just think of it this way... if you are putting vinyl over damaged panels its like putting a latex glove over a 4 finger hand... you can see what is wrong even under the covers!

This plus price up the difference between getting the vinyl work done versus repairs, as dependent upon the complexity and materials used there may not be much difference between getting it repaired and having the vinyl work undertaken 'Especially if you're eventually going to get both sides done to balance it all out?'.

Look at replacement panels 'if applicable', as well when looking into costing, paintless dent repair may also be a viable option.
