That's what I am thinking. I would love to lower it but the driveway makes that impossible. When I reverse or drive up the driveway the car only sits about 100mm off the ground, so lowering it would put the car about under the paving.

Yes the FRP one is alot cheaper but with the 20% discount it only costs about $50 more for the CF one.

For the amount of effort to install and that if you don't like how it looks it'll ruin you're bumper will have holes in it. Also I've seen it in person as it was something I was looking at doing and personally I didn't think the fins were big enough. Buy go fast bits first imo.

Here's a write up on the diy install of one and some less then flattering photos after the install.

Yeah for the effort i don't think it looks as good as you'd want it too.

I looked into doing it on my last car aswell and i nearly went with getting the seibon one. From talking mms who i believe are still a stockist of seibon parts it was a bit of a gamble as its designed for the 06-07 wrx which already come with a very basic diffuser set up, from which the seibon one using the oem bracket to install onto i believe.

Carbon fiber rear diffuser for 2006-2007 Subaru Impreza/WRX

Wasn't able to find enough photos to warrant biting the bullet and have it not fit.

looked into it.
priced it all up.
spent that money on other parts.

If your car is already a 600hp time attack monster needing one, then hell fucking yes.
if it isnt. spend your money on the all the other parts that will make the car even more fun-er-a to drive.

but also bitches love dry carbon Function>Form!

I think from memory when I looked at it the HKS Kansai one was the best I could find but required a bit of work to install

Those have neither the function nor the loin-moistening form to justify IMO.

Sways and bushings would be a "sensible" thing to do if you have $600 burning a hole in your wallet.
