Default ice install

Hi all
Well I've recently bought a V9 amp & a morel sub. I'm also looking at Focal K2's. I'm wondering how easy or hard it is to install them as I've never installed splits/amp before & I'd rather save the $400- $500 & no car for a day I've been quoted. Any advice would be great.

Cheers

Fairly straightforward job with basic skills and a few hand tools.

You will need spacers for sure - both front and back.

Your picture is that a bugeye? Difficult to see on the phone.

Can be done in a few hours with 2 people

Happy to assist and do a cashie and teach you how as well

If your paying big money for Focal K2s then the $400-500 is a good investment for a proper install and a warranty. You install yourself/a mate and ZERO warranty. You'll want to dynamat on the front doors and in the boot particularly the parcel shelf at a minimum or the rattles will drive you insane. Do not skimp on install. All the best equipment in the world will sound like ass if just slapped in as if it were factory gear. Trust me on this.

And I hope you'll be running the K2s active off the V9. Done right it will sound incredible. Done wrong and you might as well have handed over around 2k and got kicked in the knackers.

Remember the price quoted includes all cables required, fusing on the power cable, WARRANTY SUPPORT, screws, glue, etc. May I suggest taking it to Volatile Car Audio in Malaga, Westside in Cannington, Trendz Car Audio in Myaree or A One Audio in North Perth (most expensive but these guys do not F around!). All knowledgeable, fair prices and no bullshit service.
