subs? one 12" or two 12" or one 15"
hey guys,
doing a custom fiberglass/MDF install in the back of my s13 silvia. rockford amps are being mounted nicely on left and right hand side. all good i am seeking quallity not quantity! i want solid punchy bass NOT over powering bass that will make me poo my pants!! up front and rear i have mb quarz that cost alot!! so dont want to drown them out with to much bass.. have a good powerfull 4 chan rockford amp to help em out. bass... have a rockford P3001, subs or sub will be mounted inverted into the spare wheel area (unported). in the following i am not shore on what OHMS the subs will be 2 or 4 option 1 one 12" Alpine type R option 2 two 12" Alpine type S option 3 one 15" Rockford Punch (P1) if any of you guys have some Audio knowledge can you help a brother out!? what you reccomend thanks in advance!! |

one 12" Alpine type R very very good sub. dont go a 15" as they drone, also the smaller the sub the better responce time, ie: if you listen to fast beat trance you would be better with 2 10"s rather than 12"s
how many OHMS are the amps each? a 2-4 ome amp is made to run a single sub any higher will run more than one sub alot better. from what i'v read from your post i would go the single Alpine type R. |
