Default LED bulb replacement

Morning all,

After a bit of research I'm coming up with conflicting info. I'm looking to replace the exterior bulbs with LED's. Does anyone know off the top of their head what bulbs are required for:

- Licence Plate
- Parkers

Car is a 12' Sti.

Cheers!

Thanks mate. That's what I came up with but apparently the bulb has various other names which created the confusion. Cheers!

Shaunus,
Also be wary of the size of LED replacement.
I replaced the license plate bulbs on my MY16.
If you get some of the 6 or 9 chip LED bulbs, they are too big to fit in the housing length wise and will not allow you to rotate and lock the bulb holder in place.

Cheers,

Joe.

Thanks mate. I'll take them out prior to going down this arvo. They started flashing like strobes then died....Assuming that means they're f**ked?

The old halogen ones started flashing?
If you have access to a multimeter, you can test the halogen bulbs for continuity to see if they are blown.

Cheers,

Joe.

LEDs can be really hit and miss, and a lot of them will start flickering after a few months. I bought a 10 pack off Ebay for my liberty about 4 Months ago, and all have been very bright and are yet to have any casualties. At $1 each, it's not a huge loss if they fail, but if you head down to your local Repco or Super Cheap Auto, you'll get slugged upwards of $17 for a pack of 2 Narva branded bulbs. I've tried those, and had those fail too.

The ones I picked up were similar to this.
