I used to run a home built Bill Fitmaurice 30inch Tuba folded horn in my first car. Took up the entire boot. But could induce orgasms with a moderate sub bass tone.

They are average at best.

Quality and bass is on par with an ipod dock.

Have a look into the Kicker under seat subwoofer. 8" iirc.

Very impressive base for the size.

About $450 from JB last time I checked

using the Perth-WRX mobile app

had a bazooka tube in my wrx hatch. sat nicely in the footwell behind the drivers seat with the amp under the drivers seat, nice and simple, easy to remove if you wanted to, chucked a jacket over it for prying eyes when parked in public, had decent bass but not orgasm inducing bram style

As some extra with decades of experience with excessively large sub woofers I wouldn't buy one.

JL Audio... 12" x2 in a single sealed box (partitioned for each sub) pointing backwards..

Run two 4 channel amps, one running the door and parcel shelf speakers (get the best you can afford as this is where the sound quality is) the other amp bridged to two channels running a low pass filter. frequency depends on the quality and ability of the door, etc speakers. Might pay to use a high pass filter on these even if they are big and grunty. Its pointless trying to get a 30 Hz signal out of a 6 1/2 mid-bass you will just distort other frequencies it's trying to reproduce.

I could be mistaken, but if someone is asking about a bass tube it's usually a good indication they're trying to get "bass" with a small footprint.

ROFL... I used to have 2 bass engines fitted to each front seat. Felt wicked. Took them out coz I could hear a little voice saying "Your kidneys will be fucked within 6 months". Could've probably sold seat time to people wanting to get their kidney stones blasted.

I've used a Soundstream 8" Arachnid Sub/Amp combo for a few years and it packs quite a punch... well compared to its size... I think I got it for $360ish from Ablerts Midland about 4 years ago.
