Default fault with subaru pickup tube?

have a read of this guys..


suggesting that there is a fault with the oem subaru pickup tube..

Its very concerning if this is the case, as like many i have bought a brand new subaru twin scroll oil pan. Not sure if they have the same pickup tube as the standard oil pan??

I wouldn't be that worried.....probably a bad batch of pick-ups, and if you consider how many have been installed in cars with no issues, the chances of it occurring are slim.

i thought you are meant to reuse the standard pickup and just knock it to the side a bit.
