Default The Power of 1300cc.....

Hey guys I'm doing a bit of a project with a mate on his suzi sierra....Not really sure how i got roped into it but i did! Mainly cosmetic stuff but the engine is in a single word...gutless.

Had a few ideas on basic stuff to try an juice a bit more from her but as we dont want to spend sheep stations on it (may as well drop a new engine in otherwise) I thought id ask what you reckon could work?

Any thoughts?

Cheers all

Just wack the biggest turbo manifold and snail you can on it, and wait for it to explode.

Otherwise bunnings for duct pipe for a better breathing/CAI option. Maybe exhaust for it, extractors or whatnot.

Suzuki GTI engine, or Hayabusa 1300cc (with the joy of a sequential g/box)

ahh the joys of a sierra i used to own one great little car if you can keep all 4 wheels on the ground ,as they have a habbit of falling over
ok if you want more go from the pissant 1.3 on a budget go to a motorcycle wrecker and buy the carbs off a 4cyl 1200 to 1500 motorcycle and make a manifold to suit , you should get change out of around 300 bucks or if you want to spend a little more get hold off a 2 ltr cortina carby (they use 36/36 2 barrel webbers ) and a redline adaptor plate to suit change the main jets to 167 in both barrels
