Can I do this without modifiying the body? Would I have to change the set up of my suspension much? |

You will also need to roll your guards. |

Im runing 18x9.5 +40 with rolled guard, it's right on the edge. Any more u might risk exposing lip and maybe yellow sticker too.

Depends what you want with suspension. You could change out your struts and springs for coilovers with camber adjustment, that would set you back a minimum of $1200 + install (if you can't do it yourself). Camber adjustment will come under alignment $300ish? And guard rolling should be around $100 a corner max. I have 18x8.5 +44s with a completely stock setup on my rex, but it's a narrowbody 08 so I don't have as much guard space. You could probably get the 9.5s in without much issue if you keep with the stock ride height. |

That guy said he's running pretty standard camber and just rolled guards and coilovers.

Just wondering, which size of tyre he is running?
I thought u need coilover to stop rubbing by reducing shock compression, just keep stock height or (don't) use strech fitting . using the Perth-WRX mobile app

The only thing he can't get his hands on at the moment are Yokohama race tyres (A050) since Wheels World refuse to supply him....but he can get any Yokohama road tyre though. He's doing tyres for my RS next week.

I need some advice from GD owners who have fitted 18 x 9.5 rims with around ~ +30 offset to an 05-07 STi...
1. -How hard was it to make it all fit? was there much rub after rolling/flaring guards? 2. -What width tyres did you have to use to not have it stretched? was 245 ok? was it allowed on a track? I'm not looking at running the car crazy low with no gap between guard/tyres but just normal lowered so I'm assuming I'll be ok after guard rolling/flaring. My options right now are 18x8.5 which is a mid concave or 18x9.5 which is a deep concave...need to know how hard it is to live with a 9.5 ~+30-35 offset. Changed my mind on the Weds for now as they'll be too much but can get some Works, but they only do .5 sizes (8.5,9.5)
