Next question .. Who should I call about tyres now? I think wheels world have a good rep around here for good tyre fitment and balancing? Anybody else I should consider?

Rims are 18x8.5, I'm thinking a 235/40/18 tyre.

Thanks for all the help and input I have gotten from you guys. As my user title suggest I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing so all the help has been very appreciated!
Nice, im assuming you went with grids ? what colour ?

Id go to John Fowler 0416 105 911, he'll do a top job and assist you in getting tyres to suit your needs.

Also while im here is it tyre or tire ?

I went a bit more conservative in the end. The grids are nice, but with the high offset I need in the 08 they didn't have enough concaveness (sp?) to pull off the look. Picked up some gforces in hyper black. I'm thinking it should all look really nice once the titanium tip exhaust and coilovers are on.

Tire is American spelling, tyre is British spelling.

One of my rear tyres is leaking pretty bad now so I'll try and get it sorted asap. Will give John a call, thanks.

Very good choice. I went with the Gravel which was very similar to the GForce. They should look great on the car. Hyper Black is a cool colour which changes with the light and the angle of viewing. Photos required when you get them fitted.

Thanks Howl, took me a lot of umming and ahing to pick but I'm feeling like it was the right choice. Can't wait to get hold of them.

John is going to look into some tyre options and get back to me today, sounds like a great guy who knows what he's doing.

Wow, this guy's middle name should be service!

Tried to fit me in tomorrow for fitting, but my rim pickup time is too late to get into the fitment center, so instead I will drop them off to him tomorrow and he will deliver them all the way up to landsdale when they're ready on Mon/Tues. Legend.

Here we are, this is how they look fitted to a betty with stock suspension.

Flash is on as I didn't have a tripod so it lights up behind the wheel and accents the brakes and things that are normally dark and in the background. You don't see it like that.

Happy with my wheel and colour choice now that its on, so glad I didn't go too dark.

I don't have a lot of love for the stock bug wheels (though they look tidy enough), do you have any pics of the superleggera on your car?
