Default License plate locations with FMIC ?

troops, just wondering where some of u guys mount your license plate with fmic ?

i got a hybrid fmic and i can still put my plate in its original place...but its blocking a decent amount of air.

other than just gettin slim line plates....where have u guys mounted them ? any suggestions ?

cheers

yer bottom right or left of the bumoer here, most people usually do that, improves air flow to the FMIC. Mine never gets hot.!

black slimline will suit your car well Wade. otherwise, check out bretts (EVL WRX) mounting job. he has a bracket that looks very neat.

brett's bracket is a genuine cusco bracket from memory, but it wouldn't cost much at all to replicate. from memory your lic plate has to be at a maximum of 10 degrees to dead straight, so there is only so far over on the bumper you could flush mount it

I've got a Cusco Offset Number stay. Cost me $50 delivered from Perfect Run.

I really doubt it blocks that much air to make a noticeable difference.

Otherwise mount it at the bottom I reckon, offset looks too unsymetrical.
