Default Removing glue

hey i know it was discussed a fair while ago, but couldnt find anything in search results, think it must of been along time ago. after removing the subaru badge on my new rex i have been left with a pretty bad glue residue. i debadged my green rex a few years back but it wasnt nearly as bad, but i also cannot rememeber what i used back then to get it off or what was discussed on here.
This residue is alot worse then last time...but anyway what should i use to get rid of the remaining glue??

Dont use anything with acetone (nail polish remover)............

Any form off goo remover from your local supermarket, usually in th section with all the detergents...

Orange power or something work quite well

Desolve it!!

Its a citrus based cleaner - buy it from bunnings. It will not harm your paint.

You still gotta use a bit of elbow grease, but it was the best shit I've used to badge cars.

Methylated Spirits.

Get it on a rag, wipe the glue off, then go over the paint with a wet cloth to remove any Metho residue (even though it evaporates, better to be safe than sorry).

Works a treat

also - eucalyptus oil.
works very well and you might already have some in your cupboard.

just dont use it on fabric; it'll stink for months.
