These brand new units will arrive by Monday next week.

Stocking 2 different models. One for the GC8 and the other for the GD.

P.WRX price for GC8 a/c compressor --- $650.

Will put up details here the moment they arrive.

There are at least two different compressors in the GC8s. The pre 97 looks the same but has a smaller ID on the ports and are not interchangeable. Easiest way to tell if it is an early or late system is to check the condensor. Silver/unpainted is early, black is late. 97 being a changeover year tend to have a mixture of one or the other.
You may already know this, just thought I'd post it up here in case you don't so I can save someone from having a future headache.

The 2 compressors coming are for the GC and GD that we will be stocking are the Zexel units.

These are the Zexel DKV 14G and the Zexel DKV 11D

Hi, need to get my car re gassed after it stopped blowing cold air at the end of last summer.
If repairs do need to be made to fix leaks what kind of cost does that usually incur?
Finally are you usually open on saturdays?

Thanks in advance

Hi mate,

We will need to regas it with a yellow dye refrigerant and see where it is leaking from first. We are open alternate Saturdays and the next Sat we are on is the 20th of Oct.

Cheers.

Thanks P.WRX for your continuous support. Price for A/c Regas will be kept at $80 this year again.

Recent regas done @Evolution R for a P.WRX Bugeye. We are also able to fix most a/c compressor leaks on the spot:

Thanks Mao! Aircon is nice and cold (2 leaks fixed up after my aircon suddenly stopped working) and the new autowatch keypad is working great.
