We will be stocking the 71degC thermostats in 2 weeks. As per the first post, Evolution R has joined with a few Cusco dealers in Japan and has begun producing Silicon Radiator hoses, thermostats and radiators.

We will be branding them as INGMAX Japan Produce. We will be distributing these worldwide from Japan, America, Singapore and Australia.

Why 71dec C thermostat?
The temperature that brings out the optimum performance from EJ20 turbo is 70C-80C. The stock thermostat opens at 76-80degC and the water only circulates after it has become too hot, so it increases above 80c during hard driving, causing substantial loss of power.

Evolution R is aiming to offer you all the cooling mods in-house by December. We will be stocking the following and will be offering a 2 years unlimited kms warranty:

1) Fan Controller -- controls both fans with high and low temp control as well and also a full digital temp readout. --- will be withholding naming the brand until stock arrives in 2 weeks.
2) Full Japanese-made performance radiators --- will be in stock by mid december.
3) 71degCThermostats -- will be in stock in 2 weeks.
4) Silicon Radiator hoses -- in stock now.

Yup we have already manufactured the full kit andsuccessfully test fitted on a WRX last week.

Couple of full kits arriving end next week or early following week.

Just some updates, we have most of the radiator Silicon hoses in stock and will be have more on the manufacturing list further on. We have also started cataloguing these.

Please note that these are made in Japan and the quality is top notched. Below is a cross sectional view of the 4-layer silicon hose and you can see the intricate Japanese workmanship on these silicon radiator hoses.

We have almost the full range of Subaru radiator hoses in stock now at Evolution R:

We will offer a package for radiator, thermostat, silicon rad hose and fan controller shortly once everything is in stock.

Also, as part of our promise to deliver more cooling components, below is the Top of the line Pivot dual stage fan controller from Japan. The top-of-the-line unit comes with a digital water and oil temp meter built-in.

This unit allows the fans to kick in earler at the preset temp with control via the stock ecu and also allows a read out of water and oil temp to an accuracy of +/- 0.02 degC.
Coupled with a high flow race radiator, lower temp thermostat and quality silicon rad hoses, water temps can be lowered significantly through more efficient cooling.

This leads to better performance of the engine by increasing hp output through efficient cooling.
