Below is the solution for your Brant system. I can remove your faulty Brant keypad and replace with the Autowatch 956 system. Basically I will add this Autowatch keypad system and integrate it with the rest of the healthy Brant security system.
Autowatch 956 system. P.WRX $250 inclusive of removing Brant keypad. The 956 is a convenient compact upgrade to a factory fitted security system or can function as a very secure stand alone one circuit cut immobiliser to protect against vehicle theft by stealing the vehicle's key. The system has a compact wireless circuit cut, with built in RF receiver, that is easily concealed in the vehicle's harness. The unit is activated via a 6 button remote RF key fob that requires that the user users a unique 4 digit PIN code to deactivate the immobiliser. Features: -Keyguard requires a valid 4 digit PIN code to be entered before it will allow the vehicle to start. -Immobiliser relay and receiver board are integrated into an extremely low profile package making it ideal to be taped into the harness thus making it extremely difficult to trace. -PIN numbers can be changed or personalised numerous times. -Should a thief attempt to guess the PIN number, the Keyguard system will automatically block after 3 attempts. -Keyguard uses encrypted rolling code technology -Battery low indication by fob LED flashing red and green when fob button is pressed. -Can learn in up to 4 fobs. -Additional circuit cuts can be programmed to operate off the same fob. -20 Amp circuit cut. -Reverse polarity, short circuit and over voltage protection. -Less than 8 mili Amp stand by current. |

If the Brant is not there, then the full system installed with anti-hijack and the option of the Autowatch keypad will set you back $650.

Brant secondary electonic board is in the centre dash near the CD player and primary circuit board is under the dash on the driver's side.
Best bet is to bring it down for me to take a quick look after the 12th March. |

I am a huge fan of Autowatch's products. I remember having one in my xf ute with ultra sonics and remote bonnet release. Saved that car from being stolen many times whilst being parked at the old fremantle port.
