How much is F: 1 way R:1.5 way, supplied and fitted? I'll bring you the box and rear diff, save you taking it out.

When I bought my new STI 1.5 front LSD there were strict instructions not to use it with ABS, is this the same with Cusco products? I ended up selling it and buying an OBX helical/mechanical unit from the US for $450 landed, why not go for Aus distributorship as they are fucking clueless over there and have no idea what box they will fit (any 5 speed even the hi/lo like mine) They need no special oil and ABS isn't a problem, no expensive plates to wear out, very little torque steer & no clunks either.

Youd only really put a plated front LSD into a track car anyway. And deactivating ABS in a track car isnt a problem either.

The Cusco quality is off the charts. ABS works fine with it and Cusco recommends its own LSD oil but not strictly, but it states it clearly in the warranty that if you use the wrong oil, there will be limited warranty.

No offense mate, comparing Cusco to OBX is like comparing the Nissan GTR to Geely.

Cusco has unprecendented wins in World Time attack and circuit racing including GT500. I personally have sold over 20 LSDs over the last year in Japan and the rest of Asia and had nothing but wins and never ending compliments.

Cusco develops its LSDs with type MZ for race and RS for street with no noise.

OBX is both noisly and rough and is made in China. We have removed a lot of them in the lower hp cars like Hondas here in WA. Hondas have high power to weight which we use for racing here in WA, and we won't even use OBX in these cars.

Attached are some OBX reviews: My OBX lsd Review/short and sweet///pictures added - Honda-Tech

What you pay is what you get. And bear in mind, labor is not cheap here in WA. Put in a cheap LSD and have it fail and with OBX's history of cracking, better hope that the pieces don't damage the diff or gear box. At the end of the day, you will be up for more money than buying a high quality Cusco LSD installed in the first place, and possibly a new diff or gearbox.

Feel free to drop by, we are currently removing a cheapy OBX LSD that failed and replacing it with a Cusco LSD on a FF Honda EG civic with a H22 transplant.

Yeah mine is in a gutless offroader where the OBX is fine but obviously you get what you pay for, I was more curious about being able to use ABS on a road car with the Cusco because the STI one said a big no!!

I have queried 2 of the japanese drivers today. Their response was that the understeer was actually gone and that the subaru leaned more towards oversteer under boost if not handled correctly. Also they commented that they hardly engaged abs on the circuit especially when they run on semi slicks.

Also another commented that lsd is one thing, not able to enter corners correctly wil deem the lsd useless.

Will get more info from the other drivers when they respond.

Thanks for the query guys.

Unfortunately, the price doesn't include labour. I have put the retail at the same retail price in Japan and that is the best deal I could get out of Carrosser Japan.

I had Cusco 1 way front and 2 way rear in my MY05 and it still had ABS. And when I was a douche, the ABS worked fine

Kato is on the ball.

Info from Cusco: The ABS will feel different esp with the 2-way and driving styles need to be adjusted, but ABS works fine.
