Default I hate Jenson Button

I've noticed this new forum section and wondered if it's working already?

Anyways this thread is about Jenson Button and all the people that can't stand him. All I can hope for (this year) is that Nakajima wipes him out in every single race for the rest of this year and Webber / Vettel take out the driver's championship

What is your reasons for hating him though?
-Hating him because his car is considerably faster and reliable than the Ferraris, Mc Mercs... ?
- or Hating him because of his character?

nothing to do with his car...true it's way better than other cars this year but the fact that he's an average driver with a brilliant car which will win him drivers championship pisses me off, drive hard/crash hard Nakajima is my only hope

I'm not a big fan of Button but I wouldn't say he is an average driver, he has never been in a real competitive car before which is why he has never been near the top. It's true that the Brawn is the best car this year but Buttons performance has been outstanding also. Saying that, any of the drivers in F1 would be doing well in the Brawn this year it's just so far ahead.

Exactly.

Right place at the right time for Button, and sadly that plays a major role in who wins in F1. The playing field is never very level unlike alot of other forms of motorsport.

Skill wise I don't think much seperates the best drivers in F1 so its mostly down to the car. Good luck to him.

Yep, i think its fantastic. I remember when JB entered the arena many years ago, had a decent start but the monopoly that is F1 swallowed him like many others. Im a fan of the whole Brawn bandwagon, excellent aspect to the sport and nice to have something NOT ferrari/maclaren on the podium. The fightback from others is looking to heat up.....

As Jan said, don't believe there is a great deal that seperates the drivers when at their peak........

Driving aside, I think he seems like a decent chap, havent seen him acting cocky or big headed.

Has he scored a better watch supplier than seiko yet?

Haha.

Except Barrichello of course?

Was cool to see a fresh team on top of the podium at the beggining of the season but its become boring now.

Honda must be kicking themselves, or was it the Honda motor holding them back?

It's getting to the point that I wish the Honda team (now Brawn) died in the off season, then Webber would be winning races instead of just making podiums.
