Well done Webber. Great to see him get a win. Hopefully he can put a few more on the board.

I dont like the guy but very happy for him to finally get a win. 4 teams and 7 years of crap cars and he finally did it.

What I believe it highlights though is that massive issues about how hard it is too pass. i.e. Webber was in the fastest car and he could not get past ruebens. After ruebens first stop he got stuck behind massa and he was 2 secs a lap off the pace.

Webber took his drive through and just as he caught every car in front of him they pulled in for their pit stops. i.e. With the exception until he took his drive through he did not get slowed by any traffic and he won by nearly a minute (if you give him 40 secs for the drivethrough).

Again great result for webber but if you can have a drive through and still win there is something wrong with the sport.

I reckon its good that you can have a drive through and still win, otherwise whats the point of having a drive through? May aswel just pull into the pit whilst serving the penalty and crack open a tinny.

Brendon, drive through isnt worth 40 seconds - more like 18ish.

Live timing showed him as about 19 up on third, and he came up just in front. A stop and go would have been alot worse.

Fair bump but the point I was trying to make was did he actually pass a single person that was not a back marker letting him through?

I am not 100% certain but I dont think he did. What I am trying to say is he qualified well (and full marks to him) but the race certainly fell his way.
