Everyone has made the start of the race. Dan, who qualied in last position (boo!) was over a second quicker than the cut-off time.
You really can see just how much slower the HRT cars are than pretty much everything else in the field.
Oh well, it's experience for him... that's RB's main priority. Seat time.

Spot on. He is one of only 24 guys getting seat time in a F1 race this weekend. On top of the fact last I heard he is doing to rest of the Renault 3.5 series as well. Will do more Ks than any other F1 driver for the rest of the season.

That's seat time will be costing Red Bull big money so they obviously think he could be the next Vettel.

The race will be the big test though. He has never done a race that goes a long as a Grand Prix.

Good to see Webber on Pole in the track he won last year.

Daniel will love the fact that he is on the starting grid of a F1 GP.

Good luck to both the Australians

Considering Q1 was the first time Dan has done a dry run in the car to be only 1/2 sec off Luizzi hats off to him.

He also said he was surprised at the grip level the car had. Never know the bucket of bolts may have some potential in it.

He'll have trouble scoring any points before the end of the year but if Luizzi has some major explaining to do by the end of the year it will be job done.

Just about punched the tv when I heard "maintain gap". What a joke. They have been slowing his car all season to prevent this I reckon.

Red Bull just did themselves a huge disservice with Horner's orders.

Calling it now. Webber to replace Massa at Ferarri next year.

He sounded hugely pissed in the interview but did a great job of playing the team game.

Yeah Mark did well to hold back which is not him at all, speaks his mind.

Not needed on Red Bull's part...but sadly, to be expected

On a lighter note, well done to Dan for at least staying out there and seeing his first GP out
