After seeing that you must really feel for the 2 riders that hit him. Tragedy. Poor guy!

Yep same picture. Its a crazy crazy time in world motorsport right now!

Will be interesting to see if Rossi retires at the end of this season actually!

Will also be very interesting to watch the final race of the year interesting being that the world championship is already decided. Will the race take place as normal?? Will they all ride around together in tribute??

Sickening images. The expression on his dads face is hard to look at. Poor fuckers went there to watch their kid kick ass, not have his block knocked off and die. It would be impossible to feel what his parents have / are going through.

Thanks for sharing Teejay, makes it so much more real than watching 15 seconds of youtube vid.

My old man was at the race and the accident happened right in front of him, Marco was his favorite rider.

You can't tell so much from the footage but he said if he wasn't cleaned up by Rossi and Edwards he was heading straight for the armco and at the speed he was going would have been lucky to survive that impact either, when they impacted he was still throttling on trying to hold the bike together.

Looked very much like he was killed instantly in the crash. Edwards ran up to try and help, stopped 10m away then didn't know what to do, was not a pretty sight.

Ohh really? Stuff thats terrible. He slid on his face for a long time. I hope noone ever leaks pics of that as that would be horrible.

Saw the youtube video on Sunday and wont be looking at it again, disturbing stuff for such a young and promising rider, it show's how dangerous motorsport is, doesn't matter if your in a indycar/moto gp bike or in your street car around barbs. Will be interesting what the repercussions will be.

unfortunatly there isn't alot they can do to change the rules for this not to happen again.
the grief between rossi and edwards knowing that they both possible have killed someone will be enough for anyone to live with.
