Good call.

So Ricardo / Ricciardo. If Danny Boy doesn't mind either then all good.

His old man's business is a client of mine and they all pronounce it Riccardo, whether you call reception or his dad directlly.

Fantastic race but the Sauber boss should've stayed off the damn radio. Perez had that for the win and was in the zone. They knocked his focus or confidence or something by telling him to use caution. Great to see Alonso on the top of the podium again.

Agreed Scott.

Do you think engine politics came into Perez going wide?

teejay 25-03-2012 08:34 PM

Seeing Peter Sauber in tears = awesome

kid 25-03-2012 08:35 PM

Yup.

Caution message -> 2 secs later o look hes gone wide....

i was fuming....a bad pit call and then that message totally robbed us of an epic ending.

I really hope not because I hate it when the politics gets in the way of the driving but it is pretty likely.

I dunno, he could of just backed off without running off the track if it was politics.... He could have easily ended up in the sand trap like Maldonado in quali on the same corner.

Exactly, they messed with him while he was right in the pocket.

Kind of like a taco :p

But not.

Seriously, well done to Perez. I do believe Massa has 6 calander weeks to get his ass into gear or he will find himself without a place. For his ass.

BTW: Good to see DR showing some promising points, especially in the wet.

That's a good point actually. They still should've stayed quite on the radio though.

Yeah it's a shame about Massa. I've always really liked him. He's never been the same since that nasty accident.
