2006 sees the introduction to Perth of Australia’s premiere tarmac rally series, The Alphera Dutton Rally. With events in 2005 already being run in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland the success has pushed the series to come west making it a truly national series. Being a part of the national series it will attract cars of the caliber of 600hp Gemballa modified Porches, GT3s Porsches, Skyline GTRs and modern rally specials like the Subaru STI and Mitsubishi evolutions and big name drivers such as Stephen Richards, Dean Canto, Darryl Beatie, Kevin Magee, Peter Gazzard, Warren Luff and Glenn Ridge.

The rally is a 3 day event in each city with Perth being the opening round on the 24 th of February 2006. The event will be based around Wanneroo Raceway (Barbagallo), the AHG Driving Centre ( International Airport), Kwinanna Motorplex as well as hillclimbs and autotests around the metropolitan area offering great spectator opportunities.

Every year Dutton endeavors to raise the bar with regards to its profile and 2006 looks to be the biggest yet. The highlights of each round are shown on Foxtel and SBS with repeats throughout the year, with 2006 looking to again secure the support of Channel 9 and WIN televsion. Each event of the series has media coverage that equates to approx. $500,000, which is shown nationally. The events are also closely followed by the public with many of the stages offering excellent spectator opportunities.

To capitalize Perth will have a night stage on the Saturday evening in a very high profile area within the city which in the past rounds over east has attracted thousands of spectators. At this specific stage the public, visual, written and radio media are invited to cover the event along with the official Dutton media crew. This year in Perth competitors will include Australian Rally legend Ross Dunkerton and V8 Supercar driver Steven Richards.

The chance to gain local and national advertising from such a high profile and exciting event is now a simple and accessible reality. We are offering you the chance to sponsor our car in the event from $50 (for small stickers) through to whole car naming and branding. While the car is still a street registered car the branding will remain in the vehicle post event for a period of time to gain yet more exposure on the street and local events.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:
Outright winners of past events such as the Classic Challenge, Classic Rally, Multiple MC seasons, Motorvation Driving Events, and current State Champion for the WRX Club of Victoria.

We are the only WA based team that has competed in a Dutton previously and posted outstanding results of 6 th driver and 8 th both drivers combined on foreign tracks in Victoria. This gives us a greater understanding of the event and valuable competition experience which aims to elevate our standings for 2006. We are hoping to capitalize on our home ground advantage and improve on these results in the Perth event.
