yep it was firewall this bit defender software which i got free when i purchased win7
was completly blocking and shutting down anything local network activitiy. And the printer problem with one of them not connecting also fixed I just renamed the printer, as it had a dash in the title and this must have cuased an issue. |

What burning program does everything who has 64bit 7 use ?>
I downloaded nero 9 but it was 32bit however still it locks up during installation. any idea |

have you tried Nero V9.4.26.0? should have support for 32 and 64 bit Windows 7

haha lovely. was any previous version of nero uninstalled before? try right clicking on the .exe file and run it in compatibility mode, try vista sp2.

I'm running nero 8 on win 7...
You should be able to run 32 or 64 bit program, that shouldn't be causing any issues. It also should be installing ok... Leads me to think something else is wrong with the system.
