I bought a G25 last year and it's great with rFactor and GT Legends. (6 speed shifter + clutch works really well, especially with older cars like the Lotus Cortina.)

be interesting to compare F1 car physics between GT5's F1 cars and the actually official F1 game's cars.
Not that I can accurately compare anyway coz I've never driven an F1 in real life
and never will

Suddenly NFS Shift became playable... then again there's always the G27.
G27 for the Win.

I played all of GT4 with a Driving Force Pro (prior to a Mad Catz for GT1, and various other wheels for each successive GT ), bought a G25 for GT5 Prologue (very good wheel, many hours spent online with it). But the GT5 has died, so I'm probably looking to get the G27.
Anyone here have one, or knows the best deal/place to get one?

I bought one of these a few weeks ago. Using it on PC with Live For Speed. Works sweet!

There was talk about the track 'rubbering up' as the race progressed. Anyone know anymore about this?

I've pre-ordered GT5 and don't even own a PS3. I'm willing to lay down 500 or whatever it is for a PS3 just for the that game.

If the track does rubber up, that's pretty damn awesome. Hopefully the skid marks and what not stay so you can see a racing line being generated. Most racing games fail at that - Live for Speed does it, as well as great physics and tuning.
