I'm having a similar issue. I go to battlelog to launch the game, but it says you need bf3 installed (which it is). weird.

I had the same problem. Restart Origin program. It should start downloading a new patch (approx 470Mb)

Then re-login to battlelog. It should work.

Cheers, trying the repair install option first 'right click BF3 'in origin' --> repair install'.

Edit: It auto installs the patch after verifying the install, hopefully this fixes everything.
