Sounds like the type of bloke that drives a bmw x5 thinking he is all the shit.

At least they are doing burnouts off the main road in a big open area.
He needs to get a life and get outa the house on weekends till 3.30am and it wont be a problem ;)

What I hate the most about all of these things are:

1. Perhaps provide a place for people to do this legally all the time? Difficult I know with all the insurance/liabilities etc, but I'm sure a solution could be found. I for one wouldn't mind paying a few bucks and heading down to do some hellis :)

2. It seems the police want to start a covert neighbourhood watch program with cameras to catch every little thing that a driver may do. Where does the line stop? Next thing you know you'll be done for hoon laws because someone took a video/picture of you right after you made an emergency stop and made "excessive noise and smoke". Or worst still, what happens when the inevitable confrontation between camera person and hoon eventuates?

Seems to me the police/government need to start offering a better solution to these problems rather than the heavy handed fines/impounding of cars. Hell, they build skate parks to stop teenagers skating in the way of others, now these teens are in cars and looking for somewhere to go.

slighty aggressive response, sorry, but I have been through similar issues and it gets a bit much after a while.

Yes, kids do need somewhere to go and do this, the trick is simply to find a place where you will not annoy others, if that means right out in the bush then so be it. I'm sure thats what some are trying to do here but obviously it's not far enough, so try harder, go further, if you want to do it then put the effort in.
