I did a cut & shut on a WRX & Graham came out & took pics so it was on record for when I put it over the pits (one day) Nice guy if you do the right thing, make sure you take lots of pics during the repair process (mainly of the welds) & keep them on a disk in the glove box, that way you can show them how it was done, no need to contact Graham unless it's a major job like a cut, just get it fixed & take it over the pits, I've never had a prob.

I thought cut jobs were very very limited, almost banned in WA.
I'd definately re-shell. It might not be that more expensive than repairing. More secure aswell.

You have to retain the original floor & firewall, that & front rails are all that's left of mine, 94 WRX with 97STI rear & 99 WRX front pannels haha.
But yes they are clamping down.
