I the difference in airflow is negligible. If anything, its better to have air flowing over the engine.

I don't think so, you will have a negative pressure zone behind the scoop so i would have thought it would drag air out, pretty sure this is why they are deemed illegal due to if you have an oil leak etc it ends up on the windscreen.

AussieinStlouis has one on his 05 Jaron.

Jaron, go a Chargespeed bonnet with a filled scoop hole (grills on either side, no scoop)

it looks wrong. (the reverse scoop, cheap even)

go the gx bonnet or if you really want some cooling etc get a good kit bonnet...
