Your GC8 is not more valuable. Its not a GT Falcon, or a Ferrari. Its a 10 year old Impreza.

As for the WRX, I'll hold my judgement til I see more photos and until I see it in person.

I've seen some "chops" of the hatch, and it actually looks DAMN good dumped on rims (in hatch form anyway).

Cant wait to see the STi, and its about time they differentiate between the STi and WRX more (sort of like what HSV and Holden have done now, made them look totally different).

GM did own a stake in subaru which has since been solved and bought up by numerous investors part of which is toyota, so toyota own a stake in subaru as an investor nothing more.

Saab and subaru came together last year to create the 9-2x which was a rebadged impreza in the US with some minor facelift treatments.

Theyve done much the same with the Chevy Trailblazer rebadging it as a 9-7X.

Gladly for us subaru purists GM have since sold up their stake as i said, which leaves us in the clear.

As for most saab fans (myself included) the long slow painful death of a great brand still continues in no doubt thanks to GM.

Btw last i heard Saab were working with Haldex on a awd platform. Different from subaru im guessing who do theirs in house ?

I guess it's a good marketing ploy, sell a shit looking WRX, and then an awesome STi, which of course costs 20grand more ..

I know which i'd do ..

I don't like 'drab' looking cars... thats the only word i can think of when i see cars like this, and the new civic - there is no emphasis at all on the wheelarches, and the front bar just kinda keeps going, with no real distinction, to the ground, looking like the car is protruding its jaw out at you. fugly. And the back looks like a kia rio.

and...

How big do you want the rear wing?!?!?! I mean, i'm normally not in a position to talk, but that wing is ridiculous!!!

not a big fan as it has no pressence about it
looks to tame for a awd rocket that it should look more like
makes you wonder if subaru is not going to bother to complete with the evo as for looks the evo will grab more looks and more than likely sales because of this problem
